Who will I be working with?

This isn't a big agency. You'll be working directly with owner and experienced writer, Hannah McCreery throughout the process. My approach is personalised and tailored to suit your needs. If I'm booked up, or don't feel I'm the best fit for your project, I may offer to refer you to another copywriter. If that's the case, we can chat through some options at the time.

What's our process for working together?

1. Get in touch

Tell me a bit about your project and what you’re aiming to achieve - the more detail the better.

3. Quote

Once I’m clear on what you’re after, I’ll provide you with a quote.

Once you’ve agreed to this, we can begin. By agreeing to the quote, you are also agreeing to my terms and conditions.

Depending on the scope of work, I generally request a 50% deposit to get started.

2. Briefing

It’s important I understand your goals so I can create content that has the most impact. We'll have a chat over the phone or over video call (or meet in person, if you’re local) and go through a full brief so I can get a good grip on your project and what you’re after.

We’ll also discuss timeframes at this point. This will depend on my workload, however I do my best to accommodate your deadlines.

This is also a good opportunity for us to make sure we’re a good fit. If I don’t think I’m the right person for the job, I may be able to refer you onto someone who is.

4. First/second drafts and revisions

I get writing! I'll then send you a first draft to review and provide feedback (depending on the project, generally two rounds of revisions are included in your quote).

It’s important to me that you’re happy with the finished copy. So, if you have any concerns or questions, we chat them through and I make any necessary revisions.

5. Done and dusted

You get to show off your shiny not copy to the world!

I send you the final invoice (and I may ask for a testimonial).

What's your style of writing?

I tailor my style to suit the context and your audience. During the briefing process, I’ll chat with you about tone of voice to get a clear idea of what you’re after.

Although my style will vary depending on your objectives and target audience, I believe in conversation copy (writing the way you would speak). I like to be creative without compromising on clarity and simplicity.

What if I also want something designed, printed, photographed or filmed?

I have relationships with some amazing graphic designers, photographers, videographers and printers, and can point you in their direction if needed.

How much do you cost?

Each project is unique which means rates vary depending on your needs. Once we've had a chat about your project, I'll provide a quote. But if you'd like some ballpark estimates in the meantime, get in touch and I'll email these through.
