As one of NZ’s most popular digital magazines for entrepreneurs, startups and SME business builders, NZ Entrepreneur needed to hire a savvy freelance content writer who understood small business, entrepreneurship and could quickly grasp new concepts.

And so, after an on-boarding process and trial piece, I joined the writing team.

I interviewed a bunch of business owners, identified news-worthy angles that were relevant to NZ Entrepreneur readers, then whipped up a series of articles, business profiles and thought-leadership pieces that showcase NZ innovation at its best.

With boatloads of experience writing media releases, pitching news stories to journalists and working on PR campaigns in a past life, this was the perfect opportunity to combine my word-wizardry skills and news sense.
