GROOV
Wellbeing articles + app content

Groov is a workplace science platform helping people and organisations build better wellbeing through practical, evidence-informed tools, tips and insights.

“Hannah is an exceptional copywriter…her writing packs plenty of personality while still being clear and accessible which is not an easy feat.”
Jess van Roekel | Content lead, Groov
WRITING FOR BUSY BRAINS
Groov needed support writing short wellbeing articles for its app, with content also published to AIA Vitality, a health and wellbeing programme used by AIA insurance customers.
The audience is broad – from working adults to retirees and carers who need quick, motivating information that would support mental wellbeing and emotional health.
The challenge was writing content that felt light, friendly and easy to act on, while remaining grounded in science. The tone? Friendly and conversational without veering into fluff.
RESEARCH BACKED + READER-FRIENDLY
I researched and wrote batches of 200 to 300-word articles across a wide range of wellbeing topics including resilience, sleep, screen-time, workplace relationships, adaptability, hobbies and holistic health.

“I’ve been so impressed by everything Hannah’s submitted. She's fast, reliable and adapts easily to diverse brand voices. If you're looking for a copywriter who delivers top notch content with zero hassle, Hannah’s the one.”

A CHUNKY LIBRARY OF WELLBEING ARTICLES
The result was a collection of 24 short, app-friendly articles that helped Groov turn wellbeing ideas into content people could easily understand and apply.
The work supported Groov’s wider goal of making mental and emotional health feel more accessible, more practical and easier to build into everyday life.
"While life can be beautiful and meaningful and lovely, it can also be hard and serious and challenging.
The thought of laughing when things get heavy might seem odd. Inappropriate, even. But humour can be a powerful tool in helping us cope and connect with the people around us..."
Excerpt from Is laughter really the best medicine
“While it can be tempting to surround your teen in the bubbliest of bubble wraps, releasing them into the wild is an inevitable part of life.
The best you can do is help them build internal strength that will prepare them for life’s ups and downs…”
Excerpt from How to raise resilient teenagers

“Feel like you’re dodging a few too many lemons lately?
Or maybe you’re simply stuck in a rut, sick of the monotony of daily life. You’re not the only one. Everyone’s step lacks a little pep from time to time…”
